A new clip has shed light on Christina Haack’s most recent divorce. In July, Christina and her estranged husband Josh Hall both filed divorce documents, citing irreconcilable differences. Since then, they’ve been involved in several heated exchanges. Still, not much was known about what exactly prompted the former couple to split after less than three years of marriage. In a new preview clip for their HGTV show The Flip Off, Christina cries as she opens up to her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, about the situation.

In the clip, Tarek senses that something is wrong with Christina.
“I know that look,” Tarek says to Christina as he walks into her Newport Beach, California home. “What’s going on?”
In the clip, which was shared by Entertainment Tonight, Christina admitted that she wasn’t doing well. “Josh and I officially split up,” she confessed.
They had a big fight prior to their split.
In the video, Christina shared some details with Tarek. “We had a blow up … middle fingers in my face,” she told her first husband. “Things with Josh have been bad for a long time.”
Christina and Josh officially tied the knot on October 6, 2021. She had just finalized her divorce from her second husband, Ant Anstead, in June 2021.

Her kids pushed her to break up with Josh.
Sadly, her relationship with Josh was so toxic that Christina’s kids spoke up about it, she revealed in the clip. “The kids literally asked me to leave,” Christina told Tarek, referring to the two children that they share: Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9. “They told me he’s not nice to me. Why would I stick around?”
“I feel like I’m in a tornado all the time and I just can’t get out of it,” she added.
Eventually, Christina started crying.
Through her tears, Christina opened up to Tarek about how difficult her life has been for the past several years. “Everything since like 2016 has been so hard and so horrible,” she admitted. “It’s really taken a really bad toll on me.”
At the end of 2016, Christina and Tarek publicly announced their split after seven years of marriage. However, they had actually separated months prior to that. Their split came after a big fight in which Tarek left their home in Yorba Linda, California, with a gun.
The exes addressed their relationship in the clip as well.
“I’m really sorry for s— too. I really am. I just want you to know,” Christina said to Tarek in the new clip, seemingly talking about their previous relationship issues. Tarek appeared to empathize with her. “I understand that feeling of being a little bit lost. And I acknowledge that I’m a big part, if not the entire part, of all of this,” he told Christina.
The exes will star alongside each other in The Flip Off. Originally, Josh Hall was set to appear on the show alongside Christina, but after their split, Christina, Tarek, and Tarek’s current wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, decided to move forward without him. Christina’s second husband, Ant Anstead, will also appear on the show.
