After the year Christina Haack has had, it wouldn’t be surprising if she wasn’t looking forward to her first holiday season after splitting from Josh Hall. But thanks to her ex, it might be looking a bit more cheery. Christina will be spending Christmas with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae, and there’s no doubt that Christina and Tarek’s kids are going to love this.

Tarek and Heather opened up about their holiday plans.
While talking to Us Weekly, Heather Rae revealed that Christina is coming over for Christmas Eve – something that doesn’t usually happen.
“We usually have [Tarek and Christina’s kids on] Christmas day. She has them [on] Christmas Eve, but [this year] I think we’re gonna spend Christmas Eve together. [For] one of the first times,” she told the news outlet.
She also shared that she and Tarek have been supporting Christina during this time.
“We’ve been supporting her since we found out,” Heather said. “We’re just here for her, no matter what she needs. [We’re] raising the kids together and just keeping them happy. And she’s good. She’s in a good place.”
Tarek added, “She’s doing well. Strong girl. She is a tough cookie.”
Tarek, Christina, and Heather Rae recently filmed a show together.
Called The Flip Off, the three will compete in a house flipping competition against each other. Originally, Christina and Josh were supposed to compete against Tarek and Heather, but their divorce this summer changed that.
Still, it sounds like filming went off without a hitch. “Oh, my Gosh, it is so good,” Heather told Us Weekly of the show.

In a sneak peek of the show’s premiere, Christina can be seen in tears talking with Tarek about her split. “We had a blowup … middle fingers in my face,” she says in the clip. “Things with Josh have been bad for a long time.”
She goes on to add that her and Tarek’s kids, 14-year-old Taylor and 9-year-old Brayden, “literally asked me to leave” Josh.
The breakup seems to be a positive change for Christina.
Those who follow the HGTV star on Instagram already know that she has seemed pretty happy lately, spending time with her kids and her friends. Here’s hoping that things only get better for Christina in the new year – especially because The Flip Off is set to premiere on January 29.
