Jill Duggar's participation in the Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets docuseries continues to cause ripples through Jim Bob and Michelle's community. Claire Duggar's mom was caught fighting fans in the comments of one Instagram post that questioned Jim Bob's ability to be a father, and she might not be quite as knowledgeable about the situation as she claims she is.

The drama began when James shared a Father's Day Instagram post.
Sharing photos of himself and dad Jim Bob through the years, 21-year-old James sung his praises, calling his dad his "biggest supporter."
But commenters weren't convinced Jim Bob deserved all this praise, and one called the family out for relying on Jill to raise James instead of his father through their "buddy system."
"I think you mean Happy Father's Day Jill. Your parents did not raise you," the person wrote.
One of the Duggars' family friends quickly fired back.
Hilary Spivey — mom to Claire, who is married to James' brother, Justin — quickly involved herself in the conversation in comments that are now buried in the post, according to The Sun.
"Oh my goodness I had no idea you were there!! Never saw you on the show!" she wrote, adding in another comment that she'd known the family for 23 years.
But it didn't end there.
Hilary insisted that Jim Bob is a good father.
"You don't know that if Jill really raised James based on a scripted TV show for drama purposes only and some of the Duggar kids do love their dad in a normal world so do you know them personally in real life face to face," she continued. "JAMES doesn't care what you think anyway and I hope you're not spreading false information."
After the fan accused Jim Bob of lying on the stand during Josh's trial and said Hilary let her daughter "marry into a family that covered up the [sexual abuse] of their daughters and never sought treatment for the trauma that they endured," she gave up the fight.
"Claire’s marriage has nothing to do with any of that," she responded.

More shady information has come out about the Duggars and the Spiveys since that exchange.
Katie Joy of "Without a Crystal Ball" on Instagram shared a lengthy post of information sent to her by a source close to the Duggars, and none of it was very flattering toward Hilary.
"You know that Justin wanted to date the other girl & that Michelle was against it because they weren’t as IBLP as you. You know that Justin cheated on Claire during their courtship & you know that this arrangement was made because Jim Bob knew he could control you," she wrote.
She added, "You were presented evidence of the crimes Josh committed and you refused to believe it. Instead you believed it was a conspiracy that the Biden administration orchestrated to ruin the Duggars."
For her part, Jill is staying out of it.
Jill hasn't commented on the situation at all, but it's worth noting that she also wished her dad a happy Father's Day in the post she shared on Sunday, including a photo from her childhood.
Something tells us this debate is not ending here.
