Danny Cipriani's estranged wife, Victoria Rose, has filed for divorce from the retired professional England rugby player. The 42-year-old mental health campaigner opened up about what led to their broken relationship in an interview with The Sun. Apparently, drugs were involved along with her belief that her husband had changed his ways after they got married in April of 2021.

Victoria accused her estranged husband of spending lots of money on drugs.
Victoria claimed that Danny spent around £400 to £600 ($510 to $766) per month on drugs and even taking prescription drugs and chocolate bars laced with mushrooms. In a 2023 interview, he previously admitted to his use of alcohol and cocaine, taking a crystallized toad psychedelic, and taking too many magic mushrooms to the point that he thought Victoria was trying to kill him.
She says he was still a 'ladies' man.'
Victoria went on to share that Danny hadn't changed his ways from being a "ladies' man," as she discovered he was secretly messaging other women. She says he had "wool pulled over her eyes" and she "truly believed" he had changed.
"I was shocked, heartbroken. They weren't sexts but they were telling women they were beautiful, and about the connections he felt to them. Not the kind of thing you want to read your husband sending," she explained.

Victoria says Danny announced they had split without ever talking to her about the decision.
"I don’t think he was ever unfaithful to me. I confronted him about the messages but he dismissed me," Victoria shared. "We had a huge row and he left, taking four pairs of jogging bottoms. Next thing I knew he posted that we had come to an agreement to split. I couldn’t believe it.”
She responded to his announcement via social media.
"Danny publicly announced our split without any prior notice or discussion with me," Victoria then wrote. "I was made aware of the situation at the same time as the public, and this has caused me a great deal of pain. I apologise if my reactions and responses have seemed reactive or emotionally charged.
"The truth is, I am still going through a difficult time, and it is challenging for me to see Danny speaking about our separation publicly while I have not yet found the strength to process it, adjust or heal," she added. "I really don't want to be caught up in the fanfare. Sorry for any hurt I have caused."
Danny is now dating American actress AnnaLynne McCord.
Amid their estrangement, Danny started dating actress AnnaLynne McCord. “He left, I was heartbroken," Victoria said. “I felt humiliated by him but now I want to move on with my life."
She added, "I hope he finds the happiness he is searching for. I still believe he is a beautiful person. But I have said my side now so I’d like to carry on with my life. It is a new chapter and I am now talking from a place of peace and not pain.”
