Foo Fighters fans were floored when Dave Grohl admitted that he’d fathered a child with another woman, but understandably, no one was more surprised than his wife of more than 20 years, Jordyn Blum. Now, one week later, a source close to the family says that Jordyn was “shocked” to find out about her husband’s secret baby, but fortunately, she’s already had “a while” to absorb the news before it went public.

A source close to Jordyn says she's known about the baby 'for a while.'
And according to what the insider told People, though it hasn’t been easy for her to process this news, she has had the support of the people who love her every step of the way.
“She was shocked when she found out about the baby,” the source said. “Her friends are like family, and they rallied around her.”
Dave has reportedly gotten himself in trouble over the years.
“Dave’s flirty behavior has been a hurdle in their marriage. It’s been hurtful to Jordyn,” the source added.
The source went on to say that from the beginning, Jordyn and Dave’s union “felt like an opposites attract” situation, but it seemed to work for them until now. Dave, 55, and Jordyn, 48, have been married since 2003.

Not everyone in the rocker's inner circle was surprised by the news.
“We keep reading over and over again how heartbroken everyone is because Dave was supposed to be the ‘good guy,’ the rockstar that didn’t have to do those rockstar things,” an insider who claims to be friends with the couple told the outlet. “And people are crazy about the guy, but there is a rockstar side.”
Over the weekend, another source told the Daily Mail that Dave had reportedly been jealous of Jordyn’s “hot tennis coach,” Christopher Crabb, who also coaches other celebrities including Pete Wentz and Dakota Fanning.
“They’ve had arguments about him, and Dave thinks they’ve flirted,” they said. “Jordyn has told him he’s crazy to even think that. But Dave has persisted.”
Dave shared his confession on September 10.
In a statement he posted on Instagram, Dave shared that he had “recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.”
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
For now, it sounds like their kids are the focus.
Along with the new baby he welcomed with a mystery woman recently, Dave shares three daughters with Jordyn: 18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Harper, and 10-year-old Ophelia.
“She’s a great mom and very dedicated to their daughters,” the source told People of Jordyn.
