Fergie Shares Rare Photos of Her & Josh Duhamel’s Son Axl To Celebrate His 10th Birthday

Time flies, especially when it comes to our kids getting older. Fergie took to Instagram to commemorate a special day: her son Axl turned 10! She posted a series of candid photos of her boy, including one of him dressed as Batman and with some of his friends in soccer gear. The singer doesn’t share a ton of pictures of her son, who she shares with her ex-husband, actor Josh Duhamel. The mix of pictures gives us a glimpse into the kind of kid Axl is, and it looks like he likes to have fun and has a silly side. It’s also worth noting that he is a perfect blend of both of his gorgeous parents.

Fergie doesn't talk about her son publicly very often.

But for his birthday this year, she made an exception.

"To my caring, funny, outgoing, loving, smart, talkative, creative super hero enthusiast. Happy 10th birthday punky!!! I love you Axl Jack," Fergie captioned the post.

The last time she shared a post for Axl’s birthday was way back in 2020, and he's grown a lot since then!

Axl is well loved by Fergie's followers.

Her followers were quick to jump in and share their own birthday wishes. Many took the opportunity to gush about how big he's getting and how quickly he's growing up.

"Can’t believe he is 10!!!" one of her followers wrote. "Happy birthday little one."

Fergie is 'so grateful' for her only child.

Back in May, Fergie posted a mother/son snapshot for Mother’s Day. In the photo, Axl stands on a bench, placing his hand on his mom’s head to show that he’s taller than her.

"I am so grateful to be your mommy Axl Jack," she wrote, punctuating her message with green heart emojis.

Axl also has a close relationship with his dad.

Earlier this year, Josh Duhamel spoke to People about his relationship with Axl and how it’s changing now that he’s getting into sports.

"He's starting to get into it finally," he said. "I didn't think he was ever going to get into it, but he really loves basketball now."

He made it clear that he really tries to be a good dad.

In the interview, Josh added that as a sports-loving dad, he was trying "not to be overbearing with him," adding, "I try to let him find it rather than me push it on him."

Josh and Fergie were married in 2009, before having Axl in 2013. The couple divorced in 2017. And now that their son is in double digits, it sounds like they have a lot to celebrate. Happy birthday, Axl!
