Hilary Duff has a little something extra to celebrate this holiday season. When Hilary shared her family's 2023 Christmas card with her Instagram followers on December 12 — something she does every year — it included the announcement that she's currently expecting her fourth child, which will be her third with husband Matthew Koma. Considering the fact that the How I Met Your Father star has always been open about how much she loves being a mom, it’s not surprising that she'd want to add another little one to the mix.

'Surprise Surprise!' Hilary joked in her caption.
Hilary shared the family’s Christmas card on Instagram, which also served as her pregnancy announcement. In the photo, Hilary, Matthew, and kids Luca, Banks, and Mae are hanging out in a bedroom, wearing pajamas. Matthew sits on the bed while Banks hangs from the rafters next to him. Meanwhile, Mae sits on the floor holding a guitar, and Luca lounges in an armchair. Hilary can be seen leaning on the arm of the chair in pajamas, holding her bump with a shocked expression.
Looks like they're really giving into the chaos!
The card is a perfect pregnancy announcement.
"So much for silent nights. Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew," the holiday card reads. Imagine getting an announcement like this in the mail from a loved one!
On the flip side of the card is a solo shot of each of the kids. "Buckle up Buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch!" it says.
Matthew also had jokes, as usual.
Matthew shared the full version of the family's Christmas card photo in an Instagram post of his own, writing, "Baby #4 is loading …" He was sure to add the location tag "Vasectomy clinic."
He also jokingly commented on Hilary's post: "The stalker from jail gonna be so mad."

There was an outpouring of love for Hilary and her family.
The comments section of Hilary's announcement is flooded with nothing but well wishes and excitement from both fans and her famous friends.
"Love this," actress Mandy Moore commented. "What a cute card!!"
"Just 8 more to complete the pack," Hilary's Cheaper by the Dozen costar Alyson Stoner wrote.
One fan commented: "Your cards are always the best BUT this one is truly the best one ever!!!! Congratulations @hilaryduff @matthewkoma and family!!"
Hilary is embracing the 'mayhem' of motherhood.
"I'm so in love with all my kids, and I love this mayhem," she said in an interview with People in 2021, shortly after Mae’s birth.
"I love when everyone's full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your kid's going to say," she added. "We're in the thick of it, and it feels good."
