Jackie Chan Once Admitted to Throwing His Toddler Son, Slamming Him Into a Sofa

Jackie Chan is making headlines after a clip surfaced of him appearing to watch his old clips with his daughter. But the clip that shows the two becoming emotional rewatching the actor's greatest scenes, was actually pulled from his new movie Ride On. The film was released in April, but the clip has brought new aspects of Chan's life to light.

According to Unilad, the 69-year-old admitted in his memoir, Never Grow Up, that he once flung his then 2-year-old son across a room, causing him to slam into a sofa.

“He is my biological father, but he is not in my life. He never existed in my life. I will never regard him as a father. As long as I have my mother with me, I don’t need my father," she said at the time.

Etta later shared that she was gay and was subsequently without a home due to her and her wife's "homophobic parents."
