The family that plays together stays together. According to Jaden Smith, his family has found a unique way to cement their bond thanks to the use of psychedelics. He says it was his mom, Jada Pinkett Smith, who introduced the family to the drugs after she discovered that they helped her depression.

Jaden made the big reveal while appearing at the Psychedelic Science Conference
Jada had found great relief using the experimental treatment for her own mental health concerns
Back in November 2021, Jada opened up about her use of psychedelics during an episode of Red Table Talk, explaining how the drugs had "knocked" out her "crippling depression."
"And the thing about the plant medicine is it helps you feel better but also solves the problems of how you got there in the first place," she explained at the time.
It sounds like things are working out for the blended family
In addition to Jaden, Jada and Will share a 22-year-old daughter named Willow.
Will also has a 30-year-old son named Trey Smith, who is from Will's previous marriage. We all know how hard it can be for blended families from time to time (especially when those families are as famous as the Smiths), so we guess they were willing to try their best to make it work.

Hopefully Jada was OK with her son spilling the tea like that
While it may not be everyone's first choice in family bonding activities, it seems like the Smiths were happy with it.
With as open as Jada is about most things when it comes to her family and her mental health, we can't imagine her being upset with Jaden for sharing that bit of family info. Hopefully he didn't get into trouble when he got home from Denver!
