More than a month after Jana Duggar welcomed her first child with husband Stephen Wissmann, she was finally able to bring him home to meet her family. Jana shared that Archie got to experience his very first road trip as she brought him to Arkansas to meet the Duggars, and from the footage she shared on Instagram, it looks like her oversized family was more than happy to give her newborn plenty of snuggles from his proud aunts and uncles.

The video started out showing tiny Archie in his car seat before we see the highway flashing by out the car window, and before long, he’s at Jim Bob and Michelle’s house, getting all kinds of cuddles from his many nieces and nephews.
Plenty of familiar faces can be seen in the video, including Jana’s youngest sisters, who we rarely see these days now that the family has been more private.
“Archie’s first road trip to meet the family!” Jana captioned the video.
She was pretty brave taking Archie on a trip like that, even with Stephen’s help — after all, the drive from Jana’s home in Nebraska to the Duggar residence in Arkansas is about seven hours long, so it’s no easy feat with a newborn in tow! But in the end, it seems like all that family togetherness was worth it.
Commenters were so happy to see the family together again.
Jana’s post got plenty of comments from fans who were so happy to see that she had reunited with her sisters. It can’t be easy to be so far away from family while going through the fourth trimester, after all.
“Josie is so big!!” one commenter wrote. “She was the baby and now she gets to snuggle the babies. This is so sweet. Congratulations Jana he’s perfect.”
Some of her sisters even commented on the post, too. Joy-Anna wrote, “So so glad we are able to squish him! Love you sm!”
Even Jill was included.
Jill isn’t always included in family adventures since her estrangement from her parents, but this time, Jill was right there at Jim Bob and Michelle’s house, too, and shared a photo of her and Archie together on her Instagram Stories.
“So excited to meet little Archie! What a doll!” she wrote, adding her congratulations to Jana and Stephen.
It looks like Archie has definitely received a very warm welcome into the world!
