It was less than a month ago that Jana Duggar revealed she had been living on her own for the past couple of years, despite fans assuming that she was still rooming with parents Jim Bob and Michelle. But apparently, Jana wasn't telling the whole truth — at least, not according to this new report. Apparently, Jana hasn't actually left the Duggars' property, and instead, she's mere steps away from the main house on the family's compound.

Jana recently shared a tour of her tiny house online.
In July, Jana showed off her digs in a YouTube video, offering fans a peek inside her tiny house, which she said was a former office building her family purchased that she renovated herself.
“This building used to be one of the city’s temporary office buildings [and] so we got a really good deal on it. They were auctioning it off," she said.
Now, it seems like Jana may not have been telling the truth.
Although Jana made it sound like she's living off of her family's property, it doesn't appear that's the case. As The U.S. Sun pointed out, eagle-eyed observers may have caught a view of the basketball court and large fire pit area in Jana's video (shown above), giving the hint that she wasn't living in a former office space at all.
Jana's house is only a few yards away from the main Duggar house.
According to property records (including a photo) from the Washington County Assessor's Office that were obtained by The Sun, it's clear to see that Jana's tiny house is only a matter of steps from Jim Bob and Michelle's. She may not be under their roof, but she's definitely not living off of her family's property, either.

Jana recently returned to social media after a lengthy hiatus.
Following nearly two years away from Instagram, Jana recently started posting again on both the social media platform and YouTube on a regular basis. After fans spotted her wearing an engagement ring in her most recent IG post, it seems she may be ramping up her presence because she's undergoing big changes in her life.
Jana hasn't responded to the latest report about her house.
It's not clear why she would have lied about her current living arrangement – unless she's trying to get people off her back who may question her choices as a 34-year-old adult.
What Jana shares online is certainly her prerogative, but we'll admit this whole situation is a bit odd.
