Jenelle Evans and her mother, Barbara Evans, are feuding yet again. At the beginning of September, the former Teen Mom star officially filed for a protective order against Barbara, who was served the following day. She accused her mother of causing her "emotional distress." The order extended beyond Jenelle to her three children, including 14-year-old son Jace, whom Barbara had custody of until March, along with her stepdaughter, Maryssa Eason. Things haven't been good between Barbara and Jenelle for a long time, but we really did think it was getting better …

This wasn't a first step for Jenelle.

According to documents obtained exclusively by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Jenelle initially filed for a domestic violence protection order. She requested that the order be done "ex parte," which would have a rush put on the request. But it was denied by the judge since Jenelle couldn’t prove that she was in imminent danger.
She claims to be afraid of Barbara causing bodily harm.
In the paperwork, Jenelle checked a box stating Barbara "attempted to cause or has intentionally caused me bodily injury," and/or had Jenelle or another member of her household fearing "imminent serious bodily injury" or "continued harassment that rises to such a level as to inflict substantial emotional distress."
Additionally, Jenelle checked a box that said "I believe there is danger of serious and immediate injury to me or my children." She asked that the court forbid Barbara from being near her home, her children's schools, and her place of employment.
Apparently, Barbara has recently been in touch with MTV.
She also claimed that Barbara has been in contact with Larry Musnik, their former producer from Teen Mom 2.
"She also has contacted our old MTV producer twice this month about my son’s 'drama' when we do not work with MTV anymore," Jenelle wrote, adding that she had "proof of the texts between her and Larry as well."
Jenelle believes that the reason Barb has been asking for Jace’s school records is so that she could leak it to the show or the media.

She says Barbara keeps going to the media about Jace.
Jenelle also claims that Barbara talking to the media is affecting her and Jace’s mental health. After Jace went missing from Jenelle's home the first time in mid-August, Barbara talked to TMZ about his behavior. In the interview, she accused Jenelle of taking Jace off the ADHD medication he had been taking for seven years. She also said he was no longer seeing a behavior therapist.
Jenelle then said that her mother’s claims were false, telling the outlet, "Barbara has not been in contact with Jace since Monday. I have cut off contact with her as of three weeks ago. Barbara doesn't have any idea what is going on inside my home. Jace had a therapist appointment today on zoom at 10:30 a.m. … she hasn't even attempted to speak to Jace directly."
Unsurprisingly, Jenelle took to Instagram to plead her case.
Jenelle took to social media to address the story further, discouraging her fans from paying attention to Barbara’s interview.
"Cut my own mother off again, and she has to keep going with the articles. Doesn’t call to check up, doesn’t ask me how he is, but talks to TMZ to give updates she knows nothing about," she wrote on Instagram Stories. "Please do not believe anything my mother is saying to the media at this time. The truth will prevail and I’ll soon tell you when the time is right."
