Jon Gosselin is opening up about his weight loss journey. The former reality star admitted that he's been struggling with his weight in the last couple of years and has turned to using the popular weight loss drug Ozempic to help. Although many celebrities may deny using weight loss drugs to help, he is being honest about how much using one has changed his life and habits. Ozempic has become a very controversial medication as it grows in popularity, which means some celebrities don't even want to bring up the topic. But not Jon — he's ready to spill all the details.

He regrets not trying the drug sooner.

Jon revealed that he has been taking the medication semaglutide for two months and has lost 32 pounds so far. "You know what’s annoying? The regret of not starting it 10 years ago," he told Page Six at an event last week. "I feel amazing! Like, why didn’t I do this sooner? Maybe it wasn’t the right time."
He's making some changes.
"It’s really nice because it helped me stop drinking and it helped me get my appetite under control with less eating," he explained. "I was able to really refocus my diet that way, I just focused on consuming what I need to consume in a healthy manner."
Semaglutide, the generic name for Ozempic, is an FDA-approved drug given to people with type 2 diabetes that trains the brain to believe it’s full.

He's also making some other body modifications.
The 32-pound weight loss has led Jon to want to make other tune-ups on his body. He revealed that he has also gotten body contouring treatments in Beverly Hills.
"I do CellSound, which they offer here. It’s ultrasonic visceral fat removal, and that can be the hardest kind of fat to get rid of," he said. "You can do a million crunches but sometimes you just can’t tighten up that skin. But with this, you … get closer to your goal."
Jon said he'd gotten 'complacent' when it came to his health.
Earlier this year, Jon shared that when he quit his day job to become a DJ, he gained 35 pounds. "I just got complacent with my health," he told Entertainment Tonight. "I'm in a comfortable relationship. I love my girlfriend, Stephanie. We just eat whatever we want, do whatever."
He also attributed working late nights to him making less than healthy food choices.
His lifestyle isn't always conducive to his health goals.
"I think it's very hard in our area. I mean, we live in Pennsylvania in a very rural area. We eat at gas stations," he admitted.
"We got Wawa. But there are healthy choices there. It's just, like, three o'clock in the morning. What are you going to eat?" he continued. "You're exhausted. You have another hour to drive. You're just like, there's no hotel. You're nowhere to stop."
He also shared that pizza is his typical go-to.
