When it comes to the red carpet, everything is always all glitz and glam for Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith. Once the cameras are away and the pair return home, however, Joshua lives a more typical life than we'd imagine. And to hear him describe it, he wouldn't have it any other way!

The pair have been married since 2019.
Joshua made several revelations about what things are like between the pair when they're kicking back at home while chatting to E! News.
"The most surprising thing is that it's a lot more homey than it looks like from the outside," he said of his home. "It's very, very baby-oriented and family-oriented inside the house."
He loves their normal life.
"It's pretty spectacular, honestly," the proud dad said of his life as a family of three. "Mama does love a dress up and I don't mind getting dressed up and standing next to her. But this having a kid thing together is pretty magical."
Well, if that isn't the cutest thing we've ever heard …
The welcomed Janie almost three years ago.
Jodie gave birth in April 2020, welcoming the first child for the pair. And although Joshua has loved every minute of being a dad, that hasn't stopped him from pursuing his other passion: acting.
He has two new big projects coming out soon, and one of them includes some voice work.
Joshua and Jodie have had a lot of time to make a wonderful life for themselves.
The happy couple started dating after meeting at Usher's 40th birthday party. They made things official in October 2018 and then tied the knot just a little over a year later.
Of course, we all know that their baby girl followed shortly afterward.

Despite their tendency to share some super steamy photos with fans, Jodie and Joshua are usually pretty private about their lives and they almost never post about their daughter on social media.
