Julianne Hough is all about supporting her brother in his time of need. After Derek Hough revealed that his wife, Hayley Erbert, was rushed to the hospital, Julianne asked her social media followers to send her sister-in-law prayers and well-wishes. Derek and Hayley are in the middle of their Symphony of Dance tour, and the current season of Dancing with the Stars, where Derek served as a judge — and where Julianne was a cohost — has come to an end. Derek and Hayley have been together since 2015 after meeting on DWTS, and they got married earlier this year.
Julianne asked her fans for their prayers as her family deals with this difficult time.
Julianne asked for prayers in an Instagram Stories post that was captured by People before it expired, sharing Derek’s post about Hayley undergoing an “emergency craniectomy.”
“Please pray and send all your love, healing and light to Hayley and Derek,” she wrote. “Thank you from the depths of our families hearts!”
Derek said his wife had suffered from a dangerous brain bleed.
Derek took to Instagram Thursday to inform his followers that Hayley had been hospitalized.
“At the end of last night’s tour performance in Washington, D.C., my wife Hayley became disoriented and was taken to the hospital,” he wrote. “She was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel and required an emergency craniectomy. She is in stable condition.”
He was sure to thank the medical professionals who helped.
He took time to thank the people who helped Hayley, writing, “I want to thank the first responders and medical personnel who have cared for and continue to care for her. I ask for your prayers and positivity during this time.”

His followers were more than willing to offer him prayers and well-wishes.
The comment section of the post was flooded with well-wishes for both Derek and Hayley.
“Sending you and Hayley all my prayers and love,” fellow DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba wrote.
“I am sending all of my love, healing and prayers!” dancer Allison Holker added.
“Sending you all the love I have in my soul. Prayers for a speedy recovery,” DWTS cohost Alfonso Ribero wrote.
Hayley and Derek's tour has been postponed.
A message has been shared to Derek’s official website announcing that the tour will be rescheduled and fans can use their original tickets for the new dates.
So far, Derek hasn’t offered any other updates on Hayley’s condition, but hopefully, he’ll be able to share some positive news soon. Here’s hoping she’s able to recover quickly and get back to doing what she loves.
