Justin Timberlake Announces One-Night Only Free Concert Days After Wiping His IG Account

Just days after completely wiping his Instagram account, singer Justin Timberlake is playing a live concert in his hometown. Fans had a feeling that something was up when all of Justin's posts had disappeared and that he'd changed his profile photo, with many of them predicting that new music was on the horizon. Now, we know what was really up: He'll be performing at The Orpheum Theater in Memphis, Tennessee, on January 19.

Justin is 'going home' to perform a special show.

"Going home ➡️ MEMPHIS 1/19," Justin captioned the Instagram post announcing the concert.

The carousel post also includes a clip of younger Justin showing people the city skyline, as well as a January 2024 travel plan that has all dates blacked out but the day of the show. The final slide is an instrumental clip, presumably a preview of new music.

Here's how you can get tickets.

Tickets for the show are free, but those who want to attend must register for the tickets through Ticketmaster by Monday, January 15, at 10:59 p.m. CT.

"Tickets are free, non-transferable and must be picked up with a matching ID at the venue on the night of the show. There is a 2 ticket limit per person. Note: These are not guaranteed," the Ticketmaster message warns.

A limited number of tickets will be given away, so act fast.

According to Fox13 Memphis, those who register will receive email confirmation, and a $1 hold will temporarily be placed on the registrant's credit card. Those who receive tickets will be notified by January 18.

"Tickets must be picked up in person at The Orpheum on the night of the show. Tickets are non-transferable and The Orpheum said that any resale or secondary marketplace tickets will not gain entry into the show," the news outlet shared.

Naturally, the post’s comments are full of excitement from his fans about what is coming from the singer.

"Stop playing with me. IS THERE AN ALBUM?" one person demanded.

"Welcome back our King. we cant wait. we miss you and your voice," another fan wrote.

This could mean new music is coming soon.

Fans began to get curious when Justin's entire account was scrubbed clean at the beginning of the week. Although no indication was given about what was going on at the time — other than a new profile picture featuring the singer’s eyes in a mirror — people suspected new music was coming, which seems to line up with what sources have been saying for months.

"Justin is coming out with a new album, so he’s planning a big US tour for 2024," a music insider told Page Six back in September.

Fingers crossed we'll have an official update soon!
