Now that the word is out about Kailyn Lowry's fifth child, Rio, who was born in 2022, this busy mom is sharing glimpses of what her pregnancy was like last year while she was hiding it from the world. In a new Instagram post, the former Teen Mom star shared clips from her baby shower as friends and family gathered to celebrate her new baby boy … and somehow, managed to keep her secret locked up tight in the process. We have to hand it to them for pulling this off!

Kail confirmed her baby news earlier this month.

After months of speculation from fans who had a feeling that Kail had quietly given birth to her fifth child, she finally revealed the news in an interview with People. She shared that she and boyfriend Elijah Scott had welcomed a baby boy named Rio last year.
"As chaotic as it was finding out about being pregnant again, he's been such an incredible baby that it really was a true light at the end of a really dark year for me," she said.
Now, Kail is sharing footage from her baby shower.

In a video she posted on Instagram on Wednesday, we can see Kail and Elijah (and Kail's kids) arriving at the elaborate, fall-themed party that Kail said looked like "a freaking wedding."
In the video, she explained that she asked guests to leave their phones at home to help her keep her secret.
Her friends continued to celebrate her on social media.

Vee Rivera — Kail's "Baby Mamas No Drama" podcast cohost and wife of Jo, Isaac's dad — shared photos from the baby shower on her own Instagram Stories now that the word is out.
"We had a lot of fun this day celebrating baby Rio. We got to make the cutest baby onesies and plant terrariums," she wrote.

Kail has been sharing more details about her pregnancy lately.
Those details include the way she not only drank her placenta, but also used it to make art — hey, to each her own!
And from what she's shared of her birth story so far, it definitely sounds like she didn't have an easy go of it when Rio ended up in the NICU, so it's good to see these positive, happy moments from the past year, too.
She seems like one happy mom.
Of course, she's probably got her hands full with five little ones, but that seems to be the way she likes it. It looks like she had a blast at her baby shower, and our fingers are crossed that she'll share more details soon about her rumored pregnancy that she's been keeping to herself so far. Congrats, Mom!
