Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry added two more little ones to her brood. In January 2024, Kail revealed that she has welcomed twins with her boyfriend, Elijah Scott, and as she told the story of their births, she also gave fans a pretty big update on her personal life. Now that she can call herself a mom of seven, she considers her family "complete." This must be such an exciting time for Kail, Elijah, and their kids!

Kailyn shared her birth story on her 'Barely Famous' podcast.
Although Kailyn and Elijah didn't announce the birth of their twins until January, the babies were born on November 3, 2023. The son and daughter arrived five weeks early and spent time in the NICU.
"They weren't just there for a couple of days," she explained during a January 26 episode of her Barely Famous podcast. "We were there for a couple of weeks, and we learned so much about the families that are there, and some of them are there for months and months."
Their birth included Kail's first C-section.
Even though she'd given birth several times before this, it was the first time that she'd had to undergo a cesarean section — something Kailyn said "terrified" her.
In many cases, the birthing person's partner was allowed in the room, but Elijah wasn't able to join Kail, so she went in alone, and she said she struggled feeling herself breathe thanks to the medications she was given at the time.
"I hated every minute of it, wouldn't recommend it to anyone," she said.
She had her tubes tied during the procedure.
Because she had decided that she was done having kids, she was able to have her tubes tied during the C-section.
"I don't regret it. But also if I did not get my tubes taken out and got pregnant again it would not … like it wouldn't have upset me," she admitted.

Her and Elijah's twins joined a big family at home.
Kail is mom to 14-year-old Isaac, who she shares with Jo Rivera, along with 10-year-old Lincoln, her child with ex-husband Javi Marroquin. She shares kids Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with former partner Chris Lopez, and her twins are her second and third child with Elijah after they welcomed Rio in 2022.
In February, they announced the twins' names.
They named their baby girl Valley and their baby boy Verse.
"Verse came from Iverson, which is the name that Lincoln recommended. Obviously, it would be on his list because he's a huge basketball fan," Kail explained in a TikTok video.
"For Valley, I moved when I was a kid to the Lehigh Valley — and I know everyone who lives in the Lehigh Valley is going to be like 'Oh no, this is not where she's going.' It is."
The mom of seven added: "The Lehigh Valley really shaped a big part of who I am and it's a huge part of why I am where I am today, and so I really liked Valley. I feel like it's not super different. It's still a name you can grow with. It's not too weird."
