What to Know
Never let your enemies know your weaknesses, because they will absolutely use them against you. I mean that’s the world of politics, isn’t it? So when the White House reportedly got rid of a specific photo of Karoline Leavitt and even scrubbed it from Getty so that news organizations couldn’t get their hands in it, people who don’t love the press secretary were more than willing to hunt it down and find 10 more like it.
See what I mean about showing weakness to your enemies? Maybe Leavitt doesn’t care and everything the so-called Liberal media says about her is just fake news. But when people began sharing that allegedly hated photo and making more unflattering pictures of Leavitt, you have to expect that she was at least a little miffed.
The photo that Karoline Leavitt allegedly doesn’t like is from Thanksgiving 2025
After the White House complained about an unflattering photo of Karoline Leavitt, it was scrubbed from AFP and Getty’s systems, another episode in image control from the press sec

It turns out, the picture in question is of Leavitt holding her toddler son in the press room at the White House. There’s a pretty hideous turkey on the floor next to them, and the angle is from the floor, looking up at the turkey, Leavitt, and her son. And it’s this photo that Leavitt allegedly hates so much that she doesn’t want anyone to be able to use it publicly.
According to a user on X, after Leavitt and the White House complained about a photo of Leavitt, it was taken off news photo agencies’ cache of photos for the press, never to be used in an official capacity again. The X user wrote that the move was “another episode in image control from the press sec.”
A user responded to the post with a zoomed in portion of the image at an unflattering angle for the press secretary. They then wrote, “Y’all know what to do,” seemingly as a call to action for other people who dislike (or, you know, hate) Leavitt to do the same with that photo and others. People took the opportunity to make fun of Leavitt’s appearance in the photo, which is clearly what she was afraid of, if the rumors about her removing that image are legit.
Her haters found and made some more unflattering photos of her.
This is the picture the White House didn’t want you to see.

Someone else responded to the X post with the photo of Leavitt that was used in the now-infamous Vanity Fair article. Others edited the Thanksgiving photo to look like it’s zoomed in on Leavitt’s face even more. Another user edited Leavitt’s face to look like Druski, a la his viral transformation into Erika Kirk.
As one user reminded everyone on X in response to the X post about Leavitt’s reported feelings about her Thanksgiving photo, “The internet is forever.”
“When political offices can influence what images the public is allowed to see, the issue extends beyond optics into information control,” another pointed out. “A free press is not just about access to words, but also the freedom to document reality without pressure or revision.”
Others quickly commented on the Thanksgiving picture.

The photo in question got plenty of responses from Leavitt’s haters, and some were just on X to shame the press secretary for the photo and troll her as hard as they could, regardless of whether or not she will actually see all the reactions. Hey, you have to hand it to them for trying, right?
“When you are an empty, soulless ghoul, fake Christian bigot, and fascist propagandist minister, every picture is unflattering,” another commenter wrote on X. Well, alright, then.
“She has definitely had some outpatient procedures since those unflattering photos of her came out,” someone else added.
And, another user wrote, “This photo is merely predicting what KKKaroline’s turkey neck will look like in a few years. Banana was not available for photoshoot, so the turkey is in the picture for scale.”
