Kate Middleton’s Brother James Middleton Welcomes First Child With Wife Alizee Thevenet

It looks like congratulations are in order for the Middleton family. James Middleton, youngest sibling and only brother of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has welcomed his first child with wife Alizee Thevenet. While they have yet to officially announce the arrival, the couple was photographed out and about in London pushing a stroller. Their baby joins older cousins George, Charlotte, and Louis, along with the three children that Pippa Middleton shares with husband James Matthews.

The couple was spotted out and about pushing a stroller.

The new parents were spotted out in London earlier this week pushing a stroller, the Daily Mail reported. So far, the pair, who married in 2021, have kept the details of their child’s birth private. However, James did post a picture of a pregnant Alizee to commemorate their anniversary in September, so the baby is likely less than a month old.

It looked like they were enjoying some family time.

The couple looked cool and casual as they strolled the streets. Alizee rocked a double denim look with a brown suede jacket with fur embellishments, while James wore an olive green coat with a bright yellow scarf while he pushed their stroller.

Also spotted in the stroller was a bag from one of Princess Kate’s favorite brands, Sezane.

The announced the pregnancy in July.

James and his wife announced their pregnancy over the summer with a sweet Instagram post that also featured their beloved dog, Mabel.

"We couldn’t be more excited … well [Mabel] might be," he captioned the post. "It was a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved Ella however we will end the year with the most precious little addition to our growing family."

James lost his beloved dog earlier this year.

Ella was James' cocker spaniel who died earlier this year after 15 years as his faithful companion. In addition to being a loyal emotional support for James as he navigated mental health struggles, Ella quite literally introduced him to his future wife.

In an interview with The Telegraph in 2021, James said that when Ella wanted water while they were out and about, he led her straight for Alizee in her pursuit.

"Rather embarrassed, I went over to apologise and bring Ella back," he said. "Little did I know, but I had just met my future wife, all thanks to Ella. If I hadn’t trusted Ella, I wouldn’t have brought her to the South Kensington Club and she wouldn’t have been able to say hi to the woman who became my fiancée."

The pair celebrated their second wedding anniversary last month.

In September, James took to Instagram to pay tribute to his wife on their two year wedding anniversary. They became engaged in 2020, but had to put their wedding plans on hold due to lockdown restrictions.

"Happy Anniversary my darling. Two years married and I couldn’t be more in love with you and still, the best is yet to come …" he wrote.
