If there’s one thing all moms have in common, regardless of if they’re famous or not, rich or poor, is that it’s often hard to get kids to eat. Kelly Clarkson is the latest celebrity mom to open up about how difficult it is to get her kids to eat. According to the talk show host, her son Remington is an anti-vegetable kiddo.
She told this to fellow celebrity mom Chrissy Teigen, who admitted last week, that her son Miles won’t eat veggies despite her best efforts.

The two bonded over their picky eater boys.
Chrissy and restauranteur David Chang were on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week to promote their new show, and the subject of getting kids to eat their veggies naturally came up. David admitted that his two young kids are picky eaters, which made Kelly happy.
“That actually makes me feel good,” she said.
Kelly said Remington is all about beige foods.
“When I do cook, I’m like, ‘Do you know how hard this was for me? I don’t do this.’ And I feel like I did a good job and they do not eat it,” she admitted. “It makes me feel good that you are an actual chef. They are just like, ‘Hard pass. Where’s the mac and cheese?’”

She's not above a bit of trickery when it comes to getting Remington to eat.
Chrissy chimed in, telling them both about Miles’ hard stance against vegetables. Kelly pointed out that “No one wants to admit to that.”
“I have to sneak it in, into a cup that is colorful, that you can’t tell what the color is,” she confessed about trying to get Remington to eat veggies. “And that’s how I sneak it in — in like a juice or a smoothie. He will not do it. He will smell it out and be like, ‘This is a vegetable.’ And he is like hard against it.”
Chrissy joked about becoming her kids' personal chef.
Kelly said during the conversation that she doesn’t have the endurance to force him to stay at the dinner table and eat. “He’ll sit me out,” she shared.
“Before kids, you’re like ‘If they don’t eat what I make then they’re going to bed hungry.’ I’m like ‘Oh, what would you like sir?’” Chrissy joked, pretending to write down an order.
Kelly doesn't have time for Remington's shenanigans.
“I have sent him to bed hungry,” she replied, saying that Remington would back her up.
“I’m tired!” she exclaimed, and Chrissy laughed. “If you don’t like it, that’s yo problem. I said ‘I made exactly what you said.’”
