‘Sister Wives’ Star Kody Brown’s Daughter Gwendlyn Accuses Him of Physically Abusing Her

Reality TV star Kody Brown may be in some legal hot water after his daughter Gwendlyn publicly accused him of child abuse. The 21-year-old claims that her father became so violent with her in the past that he even left bruises on her body after hitting her.

Gwendlyn shared her story while doing a season 17 recap.

She's been offering her commentary after each episode of her controversial family's TLC reality show airs.

She made the accusations during her review of episode 10, in which viewers see Kody's angry outburst over wife Christine leaving him. In the footage, Kody said Christine's exit hurt like a "knife in the kidneys" ā€” but according to Gwendlyn, he's the one inflicting pain.

Katie Joy of 'Without a Crystal Ball' shared a bit about what Gwendlyn said.

Starcasm is reporting on Gwendlyn's claims of abuse, based on what she said in a video that she uploaded to her Patreon.

"Gwendlyn says that the behavior fans are now seeing on screen is the man Kody has been hiding from cameras for years," Katie shared of Kody's episode 10 outburst. "She insisted that he has yelled at her the same way."

Gwendlyn claims Kody hurt her often.

"Additionally, she answered a question about physical abuse, alleging that Kody physically abused her going 'too far' with spanking and he left bruises on Gwendlyn multiple times," Katie continued. "[Brother] Paedon has also stated that his dad would paddle him for misbehaving."

If true, this sounds awful for Kody's children.

As a result of her abuse, Gwendlyn is firmly against spanking.

Katie's post went on to reveal that Gwendlyn accused Kody of throwing her into the air "as discipline," noting that "physical discipline" was her father's preferred way of dealing with his kids. Kody has a brood of 18 children from his relationships with Robyn, Janelle, Meri, and Christine Brown.

The Brown family has been speaking out about what they've endured.

Although we can't know for sure whether there's any truth to their claims, they do all seem to be making the same accusations. During an interview with John Yates, Paedon also spoke about the violence he experienced at the hands of the adults in his family.

It sounds like the Brown kids have a story to tell, and now that their mothers have left their relationship with Kody and moved on, they're ready to speak their truth. Hopefully sharing their painful experiences helps them to heal.
