Kourtney Kardashian Shows Off Her ‘IVF Body’ in a New Bikini Photo

Kourtney Kardashian might look a little different these days, but she's embracing it. In a new photo she shared on Instagram from a vacation with friends, Kourtney showed off her "IVF body" — one of the changes she's faced while undergoing fertility treatment in order to conceive a baby with husband Travis Barker.

As she shared a few photos in tribute to her friend, Natalie, she included a photo that looks like it was taken during a tropical girls' trip.

In the photo, Kourtney is wearing a black bikini and matching sunglasses.

"A little IVF body," she wrote.

This isn't the first time Kourtney has opened up about her body changes.

Earlier this year, Kourtney shared a since-deleted photo on Instagram that left fans speculating about whether she was pregnant, which led her to explain that her weight gain was attributed to fertility treatments
.
"The after effects of IVF," she wrote. "I only acknowledge this comment because I do think it's important to know how IVF affects women's bodies and it's not spoken about much."

She's been open about her fertility journey.

Kourtney and Travis have been trying to conceive another child to add to their brood since before they got married last year, which they've shared on their Hulu series, The Kardashians.

As of October 2022, though, she's said that she's done with IVF and is hoping to conceive a baby naturally.

IVF can take a toll on anyone's body.

IVF can be a rather grueling process, especially when you consider that it doesn't end in a baby for everyone. According to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, side effects aren't limited to weight gain — those undergoing the process may also experience nausea, mood swings, and fatigue.

It sounds like Kourtney is at peace with her body now.

And in the end, that's what matters. We have to give her credit for being open about the way that IVF can affect a woman's body, for better or for worse. These are things that we still don't talk nearly enough about, but Kourtney is getting the conversation started.
