Many celebrities praise their plastic surgeons, but it doesn't sound like Priyanka Chopra is among them. In a new interview, Priyanka revealed a botched nose job sent her into a depression when she didn't get the result she was expecting from the surgery.

Priyanka recently appeared on 'The Howard Stern Show.'
While talking to the famed host, Priyanka revealed that she'd had a nose job that had been medically recommended to her to get rid of a nasal polyp, but unfortunately, it didn't work out the way she'd hoped. She said after the procedure, her face looked "completely different," sending her into a "deep, deep depression."
It also cost her several jobs.
Priyanka went on to say that she lost out on roles in three different movies that she'd booked during this time due to the change in her appearance, and it made her think that her acting career was over forever.
As we know now, that wasn't the case, but at the time, Priyanka found herself in a "dark phase."
She ended up getting corrective surgery to fix the issue.

Priyanka's late father was the one to convince her to go under the knife all over again, and fortunately, the second time was a charm.
"I was terrified of that, but he was like, 'I will be in the room with you,'" she said. "He held my hands through it and helped me build back my confidence."

Eventually, she got her mojo back.
Bollywood director Anil Sharma gave Priyanka a supporting role to jump back in there, and she managed to break back through. Now, the rest is history.
"He, while the tide was against me, said, 'It will be a small part but give it your all.' And I did," she said.
Today, things are much different for Priyanka.
She's come a long way, and now, not only is she a successful actress, but she's also a parent to daughter Malti Marie with her husband, Nick Jonas, so we'd say she's probably happy about the way things have worked out.
Cosmetic surgery might seem like a fast fix, but there are always risks. It's a decision to make very carefully!
