Kris Jenner is in her grandma bag. She recently revealed that she’s trying to get cool grandma points with her oldest grandson, Mason. We don’t see or hear much about him now that he’s getting older and firmly in his teenage years, so even just a little detail about him feels like such a big deal, and this is a pretty important one! Apparently, Kris has promised to buy him a car when he turns 16 — a milestone that’s just two years away. But that doesn’t mean that her promise didn’t come with a caveat.

Kris already has a plan in place.
While appearing on the recent season premiere of Katie Couric’s podcast Next Question with Katie Couric, Kris shared her plan. Katie recently became a grandma herself, and the two women chatted about grandma life, which is when Kris revealed the promise she made to Mason, though it does come with a pretty important caveat.
She may have gotten herself in a bit of a situation.
Kris shared that she had told him “on his bar mitzvah that I would buy him a car when he was 16, if I felt really confident and I could have proof that he’s never done any drugs or alcohol or anything like that.”
She went on to add, “and then yeah, what happens is my kids kept, you know, keep having kids. So now I have a feeling I’m going to be kind of on the hook for 13 cars.”

Kris does make spending time with her grandkids a priority.
The famous grandma, who her grandkids call “Lovey,” talked to Katie about how much she loves her grandchildren and makes it a point to have “really fun” outings with each of them — something we’ve seen on The Kardashians before.
“Penelope and I go to dinner,” she shared. “They all love to go to Target or Costco or Walmart. They love to go get some goodies. And so we’ll take them shopping or do something fun. They love to go to dinner.”
Being a grandma is a full-time job for Kris.
“And I said to one of my kids the other day, I said, ‘You know, if I took every grandkid out to dinner once a month, that would take up the month. Think about that,” she said.
The momager has a busy schedule managing her kids’ many businesses and deals, so as much as she may enjoy having Lovey time with her grandkids, she’s also got a lot of work to do.
Kris does seem like a very loving grandma.
Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian shared a sweet snap of her mom cuddling her oldest son, Saint, and youngest nephew, Tatum. In the photo, Kris is sitting with the boys outside in a garden chair with Saint next to her looking at his little cousin, who is wrapped up in Kris’ arms as Tatum stares at a ball in his hands.
“My whole heart,” Kim captioned the post.
