Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell revisited the story about the time when Dax had to help Kristen deal with a painful breastfeeding clog. While the always-candid couple made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Kristen revealed just how the moment made her feel about her marriage.

Drew asked the pair about the incident during their appearance on the show
Dax appeared humble when remembering the moment he helped Kristen out. "Let's just say that I extracted mastitis, and we'll leave everyone's imagination to wander," he told Drew. "Let me also add that it is not easy and not rewarding."
Kristen, meanwhile, said the experience made her "realize the level of commitment that this man had to me." Aw, how sweet!
While he initially made light of the situation, he did note that it made a huge difference for Kristen
Although everyone's had a good laugh about it since then, it seems like Dax recognizes that he played an important role in helping his wife feel better. "I mean it is good to know that you helped your partner, but other than that it's where the rubber meets the road," he told Drew. "It's down in the trenches, you know."
Mastitis can be painful and even serious if left untreated
It definitely seems like Kristen and Dax have different takes on the event, but at the end of the day, all that matters is that they worked as a team and came up with a unique solution for Kristen's painfully common breastfeeding problem.
We're glad Kristen doesn't have to worry about any more clogs, but we have to imagine that she finds a lot of comfort in knowing just how dedicated Dax is to her and their relationship.
