Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of iconic Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and legendary rocker Courtney Love, is now in her 30s — and as of recently, she’s a married lady. Earlier this month, Frances Bean tied the knot with another celebrity’s child: Riley Hawk, the son of legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk. The couple has been dating since at least 2021, and recently decided to make things official. We don’t know much about the wedding ceremony, but we do know that there was a special officiant.

The couple got married in early October.
According to TMZ, the couple obtained their marriage license in San Diego county in September. They married in Los Angeles on October 7 in a ceremony that was performed by R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, who is also France Bean’s godfather.
We don't know much about the wedding.
There have been no details revealed about the ceremony itself, so we don’t know if Frances Bean’s mother, Courtney Love, was in attendance — or if Riley’s famous dad was there, either. And while Frances Bean’s godfather was obviously in attendance, no one knows what her relationship with her godmother Drew Barrymore is like, so it’s hard to know if she would have gotten an invitation.
The couple has been together since 2021.
Frances Bean revealed her relationship with Riley in early 2022 on Instagram. After going on an extended Instagram hiatus in 2021, her first post back featured pictures of Riley, including one of the pair on a boat with Tony and his wife, Catherine Goodman.

It seems like these two hit it off right away.
“2021 brought me more into the present moment than I’ve ever been, which I’m deeply grateful for,” she wrote when she returned to the ‘Gram. “I wanted to share a few moments that were captured / created this past year that brought me a great amount of joy.”
The slides include some of her art, as well as a baby photo of her with her dad.
Frances Bean was married back in 2014 for almost two years.
Frances Bean was previously married to musician Isaiah Silva in 2014. They were married for 21 months before she filed for divorce in 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, she stated that her ex should not be entitled to any of Kurt Cobain’s $450 million estate. However, she did lose one of her father’s most famous guitars to Isaiah in the divorce settlement.
