Kylie Jenner Is Being Accused of Trying To ‘Sexualize Easter’ in New Instagram Post

Easter Sunday is a day when many gather with their family and celebrate — some for religious reasons, others to honor the good old Easter Bunny — but for Kylie Jenner it was just another photo op. The mother of two posted some sultry photos of herself on Easter, raising the ire of fans who thought it was an inappropriate way to ring in the religious holiday.

Kylie shared the snaps early Sunday.

In the pictures, the reality star was wearing a vintage light green Jean Paul Gaultier gown. The hip hugging, low cut number also featured a sheer skirt, which Kylie showed off with a sultry sun-filled pose.

She held an Easter basket in one of the pictures, which held several eggs and sunflowers.

'The Kardashians' star wished her followers a happy Easter, but fans think she had other motives for the post.

While she made it seem as though her post was to celebrate the holiday, fans figured Kylie might have different reasons for her seductive pose and barely-there dress, so they called her out in the comments.

Some of her followers have valid comments, but we think others may be making too many assumptions about how people celebrate the largely commercialized holiday.

Many people were angry because of the religious significance of the day.

For Christians, Easter marks the day that Jesus rose from the grave, which left some people with a bad taste in their mouth.

"Easter isn't about you or an Easter bunny, sad to not acknowledge the real reason for Easter," one person wrote.

Meanwhile, another fan wanted to know why Kylie was trying to look so sensual in the photos. "Do you have to sexualize Easter too?" the person asked.

Kylie eventually posted some photos of her family.

The reality star did eventually give fans what they wanted, and posted some pictures of her two little ones and their cousins enjoying a visit from the Easter bunny.

Kylie posted a series of snaps that included the kids in the pool and a giant golden egg.

It seems like the comments may have gotten to her.

Even after giving fans what they wanted and posting more wholesome content — including a look at the luxe Easter baskets left behind by the bunny — critics still weren't happy with Kylie.

Some commented about the contents of the oversized baskets (Stormi's contained a Prada bag) while others simply said, "it must be nice to be rich."

In the end, Kylie ended up turning the comments off on her posts while she went to enjoy the rest of her Sunday with her family. It was probably for the best!
