Have you ever heard a rumor so out there that you felt it had to be true? Or that there’s no way it is true? That pretty much sums up what people feel when they hear about the rumored new Hollywood couple.
According to anonymous tips, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are dating, and they have been for a while.
DeuxMoi, an unverified celebrity gossip account on Instagram, claims it heard from multiple sources that Kylie and Timothée are an item.
On both their Instagram Stories and grid, the gossip site shared it had an exclusive with a photo that looks to be a screenshot of a text message with the caption, “NEW COUPLE ALERT.”
The text claims Kylie and Timothée have been together for months!
“I can confirm too about timothee and kylie !” the first text message read.
Following that was, “I'v known about them since january pfw.”
So, not only are the two rumored to be an item, but they’ve been an item since Paris Fashion Week in January. Kylie was definitely there because she turned heads with her controversial lion look.
Timothée was there too, spotted at several fashion events.
To say people were shocked would be an understatement.
The grid photo quickly filled with comments from people who were shocked and found the rumor hard to believe.
“Ain’t no way,” one person wrote.
“I’m sorry … there’s just no way,” another person commented.
“I did not have this on my 2023 bingo card,” someone else joked.
“The math ain’t mathing,” and “it never occurred to me they lived in the same universe,” were more comments.
Then there were people who felt like this whole story is a PR stunt.
It’s not like it would be unlike the Kardashian Jenner family to spin up a story to get attention away from something. We’ve seen it happen several times, and some people think that’s what’s happening here. Either to get Kylie away from the drama surrounding her and Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez — or they are looking for attention for a specific invite.
“May be on my own here but I’m kinda bored of the classic Kardashian pr stunt,” one comment read. “Let’s spice it up.”
“Those gals work hard for a met gala invite,” someone else joked.
“She’s trying hard to get that Met invite back,” another person wrote.
DeuxMoi has been right before about strange relationships.
The gossip account also was the first to drop the news that Kylie’s sister, Kendall Jenner, was dating Bad Bunny. That, too, freaked people out thinking there was no way, but it sounds like those two are still going strong.
As of right now, there hasn’t been a verified statement from either Kylie’s or Timothée’s representatives on this rumored story, and no source has conformed or clarified what’s happening to a traditional news outlet.
