He didn't win award, but Matt still left the Golden Globes a winner.
Matt attended the Golden Globes on Sunday night with his wife, Luciana Barroso. He was nominated for best performance by a male actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy for his role in the movie Air, and while he didn’t win the award, he was still getting a lot of love.
Matt spent the night beside his best friend, Ben Affleck.
In addition to his nomination, Matt also joined longtime bestie Ben Affleck to present the award for best director for a motion picture, which went to Christopher Nolan for Oppenheimer, a film that Matt was also featured in. The friends sat at the same table, along with Luciana and Ben’s wife, Jennifer Lopez.

People are really feeling Matt's new look.
Naturally, Matt’s gray hair became a topic of conversation on social media, with users on X (formerly Twitter) shouting out their approval.
"GRAY HAIRED MATT DAMON," one user wrote, which pretty much says it all, doesn't it?
"Matt Damon silver fox era kinda incoming …" another user wrote.
George Clooney better watch his back!
So many fans and Golden Globes viewers were excited for Matt’s latest style evolution, and it drew plenty of comparisons to George Clooney.
"Oh Matt Damon looks good with the gray hair," one viewer shared.
"Move over Clooney!" another user wrote, mentioning Damon’s Ocean’s Eleven costar, George Clooney.
Maybe George's outlook on gray hair inspired Matt.

George started going gray back when he was starring on the NBC show ER in the '90s and chose to embrace it from the beginning.
"You have to come to terms with getting older and not trying to fight it," he said in a 2015 BBC Radio 4 interview. "I’m a big believer in the idea that you can’t try to look younger. You just have to try to look the best you can at the age you are and not worry about it."
Looks like Matt's doing the same!
