It’s June, and that can only mean one thing: We’ve made it to the end of the school year. In the next few weeks, life will be a flurry of end-of-the-year performances, field days, and class parties. And then the fun of summer break begins. Actor Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila have come up with a way for all of us parents to celebrate the end of the school year. Does anyone want a margarita?
The couple’s brand, Pantalones Organic Tequila, is celebrating the end of the school year by making the perfect cocktail, and Matthew and Camila even made a music video for a classic song to commemorate summer.

They're encouraging parents to kick off summer with a cocktail.
Pantalones is declaring itself the “Official Brand of Summer Parenting.” In the video, Matthew and Camila look at their busy calendar and realize that school is officially out for summer. Then as Alice Cooper’s classic hit “School’s Out” plays, the couple mix themselves the perfect margarita on the rocks to kick off their celebrations.
The McConaugheys are parents to three kids: sons Levi and Livingston and daughter Vida.
It's finally time to relax.
“Pantalones: the best thing we’ve made with our pants on,” Matthew says in a voiceover as he and his wife curl up together on the couch to enjoy their cocktails. He whistles the chorus of the song, which was also featured in the movie Dazed and Confused, that he starred in 30 years ago. The couple then clink their glasses with Matthew saying “Salud” before wishing his wife good luck.

Matthew and Camila want their fellow parents to cut loose this summer.
“Margarita season begins this month and that means tequila consumption is on the rise. It’s also when our kids Summertime begins,” the pair said in a statement. “We have no idea whether these two events are correlated but as proud parents of Pantalones Organic tequila and three kids, we have a hunch they are and say cheers to all our fellow Summer parents.”
'Only parents understand.'
The brand shared the clip on social media, and parents chimed in with their plans to enjoy a cocktail or two this summer. “School's out, margaritas in,” they captioned the post.
“I remember the 80’s, my Mom used to literally shove us outside and lock the door behind us … I give it a 70% chance she was draining some margs too,” one person wrote.
“Only parents understand,” another person added.
“As a former Texas teacher, my line to parents at the end of the school year was 'tag you’re it!' Great advertisement!” someone else shared.
Matthew and Camila are having fun with their tequila brand.
This latest campaign follows the same kind of cheeky humor that some of the previous Pantalones ads have. In several of their recent ads, Matthew and Camila have ditched their pants while doing some fun outdoor activities like playing croquet and pickleball. They also went on a pantsless motorcycle ride (though that one could be a bit dangerous).
However you choose to do it, here's hoping everyone enjoys (or at least survives) this summer!
