Following initial reports that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have split up, new details have emerged about their breakup. Their relationship has been rocky at times, but this time around, their split still seemed to come as a surprise to Megan, especially since it came just weeks after she announced that she and MGK are expecting their first child together.

Megan was reportedly 'blind-sided.'
Megan and MGK have taken breaks before. Still, the actress was “blind-sided” by the recent breakup, a source told People. At the moment, she’s “trying to focus on” getting ready to welcome her fourth baby (and first with Machine Gun Kelly). However, the source also told the publication that Megan is “distraught.”
Their relationship reportedly ended because of texts Megan found.
An insider who discussed the breakup with Page Six said that Megan has always struggled to trust MGK due to his “past behavior.” Around Thanksgiving, something made her “suspicious” and she allegedly checked MGK’s phone, the source claimed. When she found texts “involving other women,” she reportedly decided their relationship was over.

Megan 'was excited to grow their family together,' the source told Page Six.
However, after seeing the texts on his phone, she wasn’t sure that she’d ever be able to trust him again.
Notably, Megan didn’t mention MGK in her pregnancy announcement. On November 11, she shared two photos on Instagram: one of her baby bump and one of a positive pregnancy test. “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back,” she wrote at the time.
MGK first mentioned the pregnancy at the end of November and didn't say anything about Megan in the post.
On November 25, MGK wrote about how he’s “about to be a dad again.” The X post largely focused on his music and did not include anything about Megan.
“Isolating myself in the desert next week to restart this album from scratch. When inspiration flows through me unblocked, we will reach the destination in no time,â he wrote. âDonât worry. After all, Iâm about to be a dad again!â
Maybe they'll get back together.
Previously, a source described their relationship as “very intense” when speaking to Us Weekly. “That combination can sometimes explode, and they love hard but also fight hard,” the source told the publication.
Similarly, an insider recently told People that Megan and MGK “will very likely get back together” because “they’ve split in the past and then worked things out.”
“They love each other but don’t have compatible personalities,” the source explained.
