Meghan Markle Is Starring in Her Own Netflix Reality Series, ‘With Love, Meghan’

Two years after the debut of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s Netflix docuseries, the Duchess of Sussex is back for more. On Thursday, the first trailer for Meghan’s upcoming series, With Love, Meghan, premiered, giving us a glimpse at what fans can expect to see in the show’s eight episodes. And yes, as you might have suspected, people have a lot of opinions about it already.

The trailer packs a lot of details about the show in less than two minutes.

As the trailer begins, the song “Do You Believe in Magic” by The Lovin’ Spoonful starts to play as we see Meghan in Montecito, California, with what appears to be her home kitchen and garden on full display.

“I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it, surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them,” she says in the clip.

Meghan's series is described as a lifestyle series all about 'blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.'

“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same,” the streaming service shared in a press release, via People.

The series consists of eight episodes, all running at 33 minutes each. The full series will drop on January 15.

Her show will also feature celebrity guests.

Mindy Kaling is just one of the stars featured in the trailer, and she’s not the only one. Among the lineup for With Love, Meghan are longtime friend and Suits costar Abigail Spencer, along with Meghan’s makeup artist, Daniel Martin. She will also welcome chefs including Roy Choi and Ramon Velazquez.

People already have a lot of feelings about Meghan's upcoming series.

Some are super excited to see what she has in store — after all, she did have her own successful lifestyle blog, The Tig, before she and Harry were married, so a show like this is right up her alley.

“Meghan Markle was born to be a luxury lifestyle girlie. I love this for her,” one person tweeted on X (formerly Twitter).

Others aren’t into it at all, including Meghan McCain, who tweeted that though she was once a fan, her views changed after Meghan “disrespected the royal family.”

“This concept is ill advised,” she wrote. “I would have told her to do a show helping bring fresh food to food deserts in low income neighborhoods. Do something to help people instead of your ego. This is why the world doesn’t like you, nothing else. Just completely and utterly tone deaf to the moment.”

Meghan herself seems excited for the adventure ahead.

The news came just after Meghan shared her first post on her brand-new Instagram account, and she returned to share the trailer, along with her thoughts, for her second post.

“I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it,” she wrote. “Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun! As ever, Meghan.”
