Lately, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have sparked split rumors because of their recent tendency to attend events solo. Last week, Harry addressed the rumors and said “itâs hard to keep up with” all of them. But in spite of what people might be saying about her marriage, Meghan Markle appeared to be glowing on December 11 when she attended a friend’s baby shower in California.

One of Meghan's friends, Kelly Zajfen, shared a photo of the soirée.
In the picture, the Duchess of Sussex laughed alongside her friends Kelly, Markus Anderson, and Samantha Stone. To celebrate Samantha’s baby girl, everyone who attended the baby shower wore pink. Meghan chose to wear a light pink midi dress for the occasion.
Kelly wrote in the caption, “I love a theme. Wear Pink she said! Celebrating our sweet baby girl coming oh so soon! Adore you @samanthamstone and canât wait to meet baby Stone. Sheâs a lucky little girl to have a mama like you.”
Kelly and Meghan have been friends for some time.
According to the Daily Mail, Meghan first met Kelly, who cofounded Alliance of Moms, because Meghan’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson was friends with Kelly’s husband. In May 2023, Kelly praised Meghan for being “incredibly nurturing and warm and open.”
“You are always the first to say yes and support those you love,” she wrote at the time. “You are a fierce advocate for those who are in need.”

It’s not clear if Prince Harry attended the baby shower with Meghan, multiple outlets reported. Meghan’s appearance at the baby shower comes just after Prince Harry addressed the divorce rumors that have been circulating. While at the New York Timesâ 2024 DealBook Summit in New York City, Harry explained that he and Meghan have learned to mostly “ignore” the rumors.

New York Times columnist and DealBook founder Andrew Ross Sorkin asked Harry about the divorce rumors. “Thereâs articles left and right about, you know, âWhy are you making, doing independent events? Why arenât you doing them together?ââ Andrew said.
Harry thinks the rumors are ridiculous. “Apparently weâve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. Weâve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So itâs just like, what?’â he said.
Meghan recently spoke about her family's holiday plans.
In spite of the rumors, Meghan and her family are embracing the holiday season. Meghan and Harry share two children, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3. During a recent interview with Marie Claire, Meghan said that when it comes to celebrating the holidays with their children, “every year it gets better.”
“At first, I think as a mom with children youâre just enjoying having them there, but theyâre not understanding everything thatâs happening yet,” she said during the interview. “But now weâre at the age where I just canât wait to see it through their lens every year.”
