This has been a wild week for former president Donald Trump, and it sounds like things aren't exactly calm in his private life, either. It seems Melania was missing from Mar-a-Lago where the rest of the family gathered after Trump's arrest and arraignment in New York, and it's truly hard to blame her for skipping out on this one with everything that's going on.

Trump made a speech at the resort.
He spoke about the 34 felony charges he is now facing, tied to the alleged hush money payment he made to Stormy Daniels that first came to light in 2016.
Family members, including Donald Trump Jr., Eric, and Tiffany, were all there to show their support. His daughter Ivanka and wife Melania, however, were nowhere to be found.
He went on to thank everyone in his speech *except* for her.
"I have a son here who's done a great job and I have another son here who's done a great job; and Tiffany, and Ivanka," he said. "And Baron will be great someday. He's tall and smart. But I have a great family and they've done a fantastic job and we appreciate it very much."
No mention of Melania, though … very interesting indeed.
She's reportedly very unhappy with the conversation around her husband's affair.
Being that the Stormy Daniels controversy allegedly went down in 2006 — right after Barron was born — this is a hard time for Melania.
"She remains angry and doesn't want to hear [the alleged hush money payment] mentioned," a source close to the situation told People. "She is aware of who her husband is and keeps her life upbeat with her own family and a few close friends."

She still enjoys spending time at Mar-a-Lago.
Despite her absence from her husband's speech, another insider says Melania is still just as happy as ever in their Palm Beach home.
"Melania is leading her own life, and still feels happy being at Mar-a-Lago, surrounded by people who love her and who never talk about reality, or bad things about her husband," the insider said.
Melania may decide to make herself scarce while the legal battle plays out.
There's no doubt that the public being reminded of the details of your husband's alleged affair is an uncomfortable situation for anyone, but on the world stage like this, it must be even more difficult.
It'll certainly be interesting to see if we spot Melania at future public events, showing her support of her husband.
