It’s official: Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are now parents of two. On Sunday, Olivia took to Instagram to reveal that the couple has quietly welcomed their second child, a baby girl, making their son Malcolm a big brother. The news comes after Olivia shared her experience with breast cancer following her 2023 diagnosis, but after a tough year, it looks like their family has a lot to celebrate.

Olivia shared the news on Instagram, along with plenty of photos.
Alongside the first photos of her baby girl, Olivia announced that Méi June Mulaney was born via surrogate on September 14, 2024.
“I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter,” Olivia wrote in her post. “When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding, I knew I had found a real-life angel. Words cannot express my gratitude that she kept our baby safe for 9 months and made our dreams come true.”
She added that her daughter's name, Méi, means 'plum' in Chinese.
“I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon for making the journey to be with us. My heart has exploded,” she added.
John shared the same photo of him, Olivia, and their daughter in the hospital in an Instagram post of his own, joking, “We stole so much stuff from the hospital. I love my little girl so much.”
Olivia and John are already parents to a son, Malcolm.
The couple’s first child, Malcolm Hiệp, will turn 3 years old in November, and this time around, he’ll be celebrating his birthday as a big brother for the very first time.
This is such exciting news — especially because fans had no idea that John and Olivia were expecting another baby before her arrival!

Earlier this year, Olivia revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Back in March, Olivia shared an Instagram post filling in fans on a big development in her life. “I was diagnosed with breast cancer,” she wrote, alongside photos of her in the hospital. “I hope by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support on their own journey.
“I went from feeling completely fine one day, to waking up in a hospital bed after a 10-hour surgery the next,” she wrote in her Instagram post. “I’m lucky. We caught it with enough time that I had options. I want the same for any woman who might have to face this one day.”
John and Olivia got married in July.
Though the couple hasn’t shared any of the details themselves, a source close to John confirmed the news to People this summer. Olivia and John tied the knot at a friend’s house in New York, with only Malcolm and a witness there to see them exchange vows.
Now, they’re starting life as a family of four. Congrats to their family!
