There are a lot of reasons to love Bridgerton, but a big one is all of the romance. The show is full of pretty people in fancy clothes falling in love — what's not to like? There may be another Bridgerton/Featherington romance.
While most people are swooning over Anthony and Colin Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey and Luke Newton, respectively), plenty of fans also find second oldest brother Benedict Bridgerton (played by Luke Thompson) to be absolutely irresistible. And even though Colin is the one falling in love with a Featherington sister this season, Luke Thompson might have found himself one in real life.

This may not be a new romance.
Rumor has it that Luke Thompson and Harriet Cains, who plays the dim-witted Philippa Featherington, are an item. The two sparked dating rumors after being photographed together earlier this year for the Vanity Fair EE Rising Star Party for the BAFTA Awards. Some fans did a little more digging and found an Instagram post Harriet shared in 2021 that could definitely raise eyebrows.
The post is a picture of Luke surrounded with hearts. “My favourite Luke soz @lukenewtonuk,” the caption reads, referring to Luke Newton.
Penelope and Colin aren't the only season three romance.
Harriet isn’t the only Featherington sister who found love with a costar. Bessie Carter, who plays oldest sister Prudence Featherington, has been linked to costar Sam Phillips, who plays Lord Debling on this current season of Bridgerton. Lord Debling may have fallen for Penelope, but Sam fell for her sister!
The story goes that Bessie and Sam met when season three filmed in 2022, and moved in together shortly after filming wrapped in 2023.
Things seem to be pretty serious between Bessie and Sam.
Bessie and Sam have been photographed together numerous times prior to season three premiering, including pictures alongside Bessie’s mom, famed actress Imelda Staunton (who you may know from the Harry Potter movies or the show The Crown).
According to the Daily Mail, the pair have also posted lots of matching pictures on their Instagram accounts, including shots from their vacation in Barcelona, Spain, and nearly identical living room shots.
There are two stars who are not a couple, despite what fans think.
Despite both of her onscreen sisters finding love with their costars, actress Nicola Coughlan is definitely not dating costar Luke Newtown, even though their
chemistry is downright hot on the show. A source told People that "they are not dating” despite the chemistry between them. The insider told the outlet that the two are supportive of each other, but "just friends." Bummer!
