Now that Paris Hilton's dreams of becoming a mom have come true twice over, she's having the full experience — including getting advice from those who have come before her. After Paris shared a video of her son, Phoenix, playing in the pool on TikTok, moms flooded the comments to let her know that she was making a pretty big safety error: The 1-year-old's life jacket was on backward. This isn't the first time Paris has been called out for a safety mistake like this!

It all started with a seemingly harmless TikTok video.
Here, we can see Phoenix in a pool with his mama while the family is on vacation in Hawaii. He looks happy as can be as he splashes around, and he and Paris even go under a tunnel.
"Adventures with Baby P," she captioned the video, adding a fish emoji.
Phoenix is wearing a Puddle Jumper in the pool.
A Puddle Jumper is a floatation device little ones often wear in the pool to help support their upper body. In the video, we can see the strap and buckle going across Phoenix's chest when it should have been the other way around, and plenty of people flocked to the comments to set Paris straight.
"[His] floaties are on backwards the clip goes in the back but also happens to lots of new moms," one person wrote.
"Swimming teacher here, see if you can swap the puddle jumper for a float jacket. Gives him the use of his arms to aide his swim journey," shared another commenter.
Paris seemed happy to have the advice.
Rather than become defensive when offered parenting advice online, Paris has gained a reputation for being open to learning from her online village, and this time was no different.
In response to one mom who pointed out the mistake, Paris wrote, "Oops! Thank you! I never let him out of my arms. thought it was backwards too, I said that to the person who I bought it from & they said it was on right. But thank you so much for letting me know."
Paris is all about making positive changes.
When she was called out for her car seats being installed incorrectly earlier this month, Paris was quick to share another TikTok video to show that she'd taken her followers seriously.
"Thanks for the mom advice, I'm new to this," she wrote at the time.

Paris and her fam seem to be having a blast on vacation.
In another video she shared from Hawaii, Paris is holding Phoenix on the beach as they walk on the sand together at sunset. She called it paradise in her caption, and it certainly looks that way!
Now that Phoenix's life jacket will be on the correct way, he'll be unstoppable.
