10 Pics That Have Us Swooning Over ‘The Last of Us’ Star Pedro Pascal

Everyone is paying close attention to Pedro Pascal now that HBO's The Last of Us has become the first must-watch show of 2023. But we've had our eye on this hunky Chilean actor for some time now, and we have to tell you — a lot of you are late to the Pedro appreciation club. Don't believe us? Here are 10 swoonworthy photos of Pedro that prove our point.

Pedro has appeared in some of your favorite shows.

If you're unfamiliar with the 47-year-old, let us quickly get you up to speed. He's starred in some of the biggest hits of recent years, including The Mandalorian and Game of Thrones. But his burgeoning career isn't confined to the small screen — he's also appeared in blockbuster films including Wonder Woman 1984.

His fame grew after a 2014 role.

If you feel like he's been everywhere over the past decade, you're not wrong (and you can thank HBO for that, too). Pedro's career really took off after he played Oberyn Martell in the fourth season of GOT. While his character met a rather unsightly end, Pedro thankfully lives on.

His 'GOT' character proved to be no match for the Mountain.

We were sad to see the cocksure Oberyn meet his gruesome demise during his fight with the Mountain, but at least his multi-episode arc on the series gave us plenty of opportunities to discover that Pedro can rock the heck out of a fantasy frock (Yes, yellow is his color.)

There aren't too many shirtless photos of Pedro floating around. But all the way back in 2014, he posted a snap via Instagram of himself sitting in the sand on a beach. The actor donned a pair of swim trunks and black sunglasses, and looked pretty cool in the process.

Pedro is also part of the Disney dynasty.

He's officially a member of the Star Wars universe now that he's taken up the mantle as Mando in The Mandalorian. The success of the first live-action Star Wars TV show produced by the conglomerate has spawned several spin-offs and — spoiler alert — our pal Pedro appears in more than one of them.

It's hard to believe they keep his gorgeous face mostly covered.

If you're hoping to see more of Pedro, though, you might not want to tune into Disney. The entertainment giant sadly keeps his mug hidden under his helmet for most of the series. But there is a chance or two to get a glimpse of his face during the end of the first season.

You can also catch him on some other streaming services.

OK, we've spent a lot of time talking up Pedro's undeniable good looks, but we'd be remiss if we didn't note that he's actually a really good actor as well. You can check him out in Netflix's crime drama Narcos, where he plays US DEA agent Javier Peña.

If you live in New York, you might get a chance to spot him cruising around town.

Pedro is set to make his Saturday Night Live debut on February 4. He'll be hosting the New York-based show, alongside musical guest Coldplay. We're sure there will be plenty of skits involving his newest HBO role since at least one of the promos for SNL's upcoming show features a creature from The Last of Us.

Even if you can't bump into him, you can see him live on air.

OK, so you don't have to be in NYC to have a chance to ogle him. You can tune into the long-running comedy sketch show to get your daily hit of Pedro. For HBO subscribers, that means you'll get a double dose of Pedro content this week (a new Last of Us episode drops every Sunday).

You know we'll be watching!

Best of luck to Pedro on his SNL debut. Given his Hollywood success story, we're sure this won't be the last time we see him on the show's NBC set. And until he takes the stage on Saturday night, you can pore all over these dreamy pictures with the rest of us.
