There's trouble brewing in Duggar-ville. At least, that's what it looks like after it was reported that police paid the Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's large compound a visit over the weekend, sparking concern and rumors about what had them checking in on the controversial family. Here's what we know.

The news was first reported by Katie Joy.
The Without a Crystal Ball blogger posted her findings on her popular Instagram page.
"Washington County Sheriff's Department made a visit to the Duggar property on Sunday 6/25/23 at 8:26 am," she wrote.
"According to the calls for service log, the police arrived for a follow up investigation."
They weren't visiting the main house.
According to the address on the complaint, it doesn't sound like they were there to see the house occupied by Jim Bob, Michelle, and their younger children.
"The address listed exists on the vast 20 plus acres the Duggars own. The property contains numerous buildings, multiple homes, and warehouses," Katie Joy continued in her post.
"The address number is within the numbers of the buildings/homes on the Duggar property — but is not the Duggar home."
It doesn't sound like anyone was arrested ... yet.

We know that no one was locked up during the visit, thanks to Katie Joy's sleuthing, but that's about all we really know at the moment.
"There were no arrests listed and no warrants listed for anyone in the Duggar family in Washington County," her post continued.
The news story was confirmed by InTouch, which has its own theories about what's going on.
Jana Duggar had some trouble with the law back in 2021.
The 33-year-old Counting On alum was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor after an incident back in September 2021.
She faced misdemeanor charges, which she initially pleaded not guilty to. Jana later released a statement clarifying what happened.
"The raw facts: I was babysitting a few months ago when one of the children wandered outside alone," she wrote in part. "A passerby who saw the child called the police. This resulted in a written citation, as well as a follow-up with child welfare who concluded that it was an accident and the child was unharmed. They recognized it was a case of a child slipping out of the house when you turn your back for a moment."

And of course we know what kind of trouble Josh Duggar has gotten himself into over the years.
The oldest of the 19 Kids and Counting crew is serving more than a decade in prison for possessing and receiving images of child sexual assault material.
Although we find it hard to believe that there were any stones left unturned during the investigation which saw him convicted for his crimes, we can't rule anything out. We'll have to wait to find out the facts once Katie Joy has had a chance to check with her sources.
