Prince Harry & Prince William Will Reportedly Be Separated From Each Other at Coronation

When we think about King Charles' coronation next month, we picture his family all sitting together … but apparently, that might not be happening. Supposedly, William and Harry will be separated at the event in the hopes that their feud won't be front and center, but at this point, will anyone watching at home be thinking of anything else?

This week, Harry confirmed his attendance at the coronation.

The catch: He'll be going there alone while the rest of his family stays back in the United States, given that Archie's birthday happens to fall on the same day as Charles' ceremony.

"Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet," the official statement from the palace read.

Now it sounds like the palace may be running a little interference between him and his brother.

We can hardly remember a time in the recent past that William and Harry were actually on good terms, and according to what an insider told Express, the palace is reportedly doing everything in its power to make sure both men behave themselves.

Supposedly, Harry is to sit a few rows behind the rest of the senior royals to ensure that cameras won't catch any looks or body language between the two of them that could be sensationalized by the people who will be sure to analyze their every move.

Instead, Harry will sit with the members of the family he actually gets along with.

The insider claims that will include Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, who he still seems to be on good terms with. In fact, last year Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank visited Harry and Meghan in the US, and so far, they're the only members of the royal family we know have done so since they moved in 2020.

We may not even see Harry and William interact during the event at all.

Reportedly, the senior royals are planning to only "exchange pleasantries" with Harry and will otherwise avoid him.

Supposedly, William is still pretty mad about everything that Harry has said publicly about their relationship over the years — including the story he told about William hitting him during an argument over Meghan — and is still "seething."

Hopefully, the whole event will remain drama-free.

After all, it's a history-making day for the royals. We're not surprised they're pulling out all the stops to make sure everything goes smoothly.

We'd hope that this would be another opportunity for Harry and his family to mend fences, but at this point, it doesn't sound like there's much hope of that happening — now or maybe at all.
