It feels like just yesterday that the world watched as Prince William tied the knot with Kate Middleton in one of the most elaborate royal weddings in recent memory, and now, the couple is sharing another milestone. Today, April 29, marks Will and Kate's 13th wedding anniversary, and the Prince and Princess of Wales decided to celebrate by sharing a never before seen photo from the big day with their followers on Instagram. These two are so young in this picture!

They shared the portrait on Instagram.
In the black and white photo, which was taken by photographer Millie Pilkington, Will and Kate are posing together on their wedding day as Kate holds her bouquet in her hands.
"13 years ago today!" the caption read.
The photographer shared the portrait as well.
Pilkington took to her own Instagram account to share the portrait, writing, "Wishing the @princeandprincessofwales the very happiest wedding anniversary. Can’t believe it is 13 years ago almost to the hour, that I took this portrait. So excited and honoured that they should wish to share it."
She's taken several other portraits of Will, Kate, and their kids through the years, along with photographing other royals, such as King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Their wedding venue shared a video from the day, too.
As People pointed out, Westminster Abbey, where Will and Kate tied the knot 13 years ago, also shared a video from the wedding that showed them as newlyweds walking out of the church for the first time after they had been pronounced married.
"Wishing The Prince and Princess of Wales a very happy wedding anniversary today! Their Royal Highnesses were married here in the Abbey #onthisday in 2011," read the message shared on X (formerly Twitter).

This year has been a challenging one.
Will and Kate have been facing a lot of new struggles in their family as they ring in the 13th year of marriage — and all on the public stage. Not only was King Charles diagnosed with cancer just a few months ago, but Kate also came forward about her own diagnosis last month.
They've certainly had easier years together, and there's no doubt they'll come out on the other side of this one stronger and enjoy easier years in the future.

With multiple health crises in their family and raising three young children, something tells us these two don't get much time to be alone together anymore. But hopefully, at some point today, they'll have the chance to celebrate, even in a small way. Thirteen years is a big deal!
