Fans Are Shocked To See Prince William Dining at an LGBTQ Restaurant in Poland

Patrons at Butero Bistro in Poland got a huge surprise on Wednesday when Prince William came in for dinner. The royal was joined by Kensington Palace staff, who were in town with the father of three as he made several appearances, including one that involved visiting with Ukrainian children.

A diner snapped a candid shot of William ordering food.

William looked like any other gentleman out with some friends in the snaps, as he appeared to carefully study the menu.

"The team from Kensington Palace booked a local restaurant near where they were working and the prince decided to join them," a source told the Daily Mail. "He asked them what they were doing and then asked to come along. It was a great night by all accounts."

The staffers were more than eager to have dinner with the boss.

Although most people would probably groan at the idea of being forced to join their boss for an after-hours meal, it appears palace staffers were ticked by the prospect of getting more face time with the royal.

"The team really appreciated him asking to join them,'" the source continued.

William ordered a pub favorite.

One might assume that William would make a special request from the chef given what his dining experiences typically look like, but people who were in the restaurant at the time said he ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries, which would've run the prince $9.24 in US dollars.

His visit to the restaurant had a special meaning to Polanders.

The person who shared the original snaps to Instagram celebrated William's decision to pick that particular location because of its ties to the LGBTQ community.

"It is valuable that he supported the community so abused by the current authorities in Poland," the person said in a nod to the government's backward stance on LGBTQ rights.

Most people would be ecstatic to have a royal sighting while out to eat.

We hope the other diners were excited by William's cameo at the restaurant. It had to be a pleasant surprise for fans of the royal family, because it's unlikely any of them had ever gotten such an up close and personal look at the future king of England. We're more than a little bit jealous, actually!
