The late Princess Diana is always an inspiration, even decades after her death. And now, an etiquette instructor on TikTok is going viral for sharing one of the late Princess of Wales' helpful tips for getting out of a car without flashing the goods at any paparazzi who might have been hoping to catch a glimpse (and a photo) of her.

There's a reason this video is going viral.
Etiquette expert @katarina.etiquette shared Princess Diana's tricks for avoiding unwanted attention from paparazzi.
"One of them was to always cover her cleavage with her clutch when exiting a car. This way she didn’t give the paparazzi anything to 'spy on' while maintaining an elegant posture," Katarina further explained in the caption.
So far the video has gotten over 1.6 million likes, proving that even the regular folk are looking to add a little royal etiquette to their routines.
Obviously, you don’t have to use the fear of being photographed in an unflattering light to want to try and be a little more graceful when exiting your car.
It really is a useful trick, and Diana did it often.
In addition to keeping her bag placed over her chest like Diana did, Katarina also keeps her legs close together when getting out of the car.
This trick is especially helpful if you find yourself wearing a short or more fitted dress and don’t want to run the risk of showing too much or ripping your outfit.
Another TikTok user, @allacortedi, shared a video of the princess using the hack in action.

Lots of people are really thankful that such a hack has been brought to their attention, as evidenced by the comments.
"Something so simple but so smart!" one person commented.
"It seems so obvious but yet I've never thought of this," another added.
The videos are encouraging people to pay more attention to how they get out of the car.
"I am literally incapable of exiting and car elegantly, I'm always stumbling out of it," one person wrote, with others joking that they'll keep these tips in mind the next time they're battling paparazzi.
