Priscilla Presley & Riley Keough Aren’t Speaking After a Blowup Over Lisa Marie’s Will

The death of Lisa Marie Presley has put a family at odds after it was revealed that Pricilla Presley was removed as executor of her daughter's will. Now, Lisa Marie's daughter Riley Keough has been left in charge of the estate, poising the two women to go head-to-head in a legal battle for control.

Lisa Marie died after suffering a cardiac arrest on January 12.

Her shocking death was devastating for Lisa Marie's family, who had only just watched her attend the Golden Globes two days prior as she celebrated Austin Butler's win for his portrayal of her famous father in the movie Elvis.

Of course, that heartache was overshadowed by a fight over court documents, which Priscilla says have been forged.

Priscilla is contesting Lisa Marie's will after learning an amendment removed her as executor.

"Riley has been mourning the loss of her mother and is heartbroken to have to deal with a trust dispute with a family member," a source close to the story told Entertainment Tonight.

"Priscilla is adamant that she has a valid case and that she will prevail in court. Riley and Priscilla aren't communicating at this time, but have been in communication through lawyers."

It doesn't sound like anything will be solved privately.

Both sides seem to believe that they're in the right, which is why the source is saying the ladies are "gearing up" for a long court battle.

"She is heartbroken that this has turned into a public matter and knows her mother would never want this," the source continued, adding that Riley was "very stressed" but "trying to keep a positive attitude."

Unfortunately, Riley seems to be hunkering down and staying out of the spotlight in the meantime.

Riley skipped the UK premiere of her Amazon Prime series Daisy Jones & the Six as she deals with everything that's happened over the past few weeks.

"It felt a little odd that the lead actress wasn't there but Camila was absolutely enchanting during the discussion and wowed the audience with her witty observations and quips," a guest told the Daily Mirror of Riley's costar, Camila Morrone.

It's a shame that the two ladies are at odds during a time like this.

We're sure emotions are running hot right now, but this is a time when Riley and Priscilla should be leaning on one another instead of getting ready to face off in court.

Maybe the pair will be able to find some mutual ground as more time passes. At least for Lisa Marie's two teenage daughters, who have had their entire lives turned upside down.
