Rebel Wilson Accuses Sacha Baron Cohen of Threatening Her Over Her New Memoir

Rebel Wilson is making some pretty serious claims against Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen. After making a vague post on Instagram about someone she'd had a difficult time working with in Hollywood, Rebel has returned to the social media app to share more details. As it turns out, she was actually talking about Sacha — and now, she says he's threatening her if she goes ahead with the upcoming release of her memoir, Rebel Rising. This could get ugly …

The situation began to unravel earlier this month.

As Variety reported, Rebel mentioned that she worked with an actor who has hired a crisis PR team and is threatening her after she said that she has written a chapter about his alleged behavior in her upcoming book. Then, on March 15, Rebel shared a post on Instagram with a caption that raised quite a few questions.

"Do you wanna know why I have a 'no a–holes' policy now with people I work with? … Well it’s all in the book: REBEL RISING available for pre-order now (drops April 2nd, link in bio) … oh and YES I name the a–hole!" she wrote in her caption.

Now she's returning to share the name of the person she had in mind.

In a post on her Instagram Stories that Rebel shared on Sunday, she wrote, "I will not be bullied or silenced with high priced lawyer or PR crisis managers. The 'a–hole' that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is Sacha Baron Cohen."

She's not holding back!

Rebel has previously talked about her experience working with him on 'The Brothers Grimsby.'

In 2017, Rebel shared a series of tweets accusing an unnamed male star of sexually harassing her, and at the time, fans noticed her account was eerily similar to a story she'd shared about filming The Brothers Grimsby with Sacha.

During a radio interview with KISS FM, Rebel said Sacha has been asking her to "go naked" for a scene, and when she refused, he pushed further.

She then claimed he told her to stick a finger in his backside.

"Then in the last scene … he was like, 'Rebel can you just stick your finger up my butt?' And I went, 'What do you mean Sacha? That’s not in the script.' And he’s like, 'Look, I’ll just pull down my pants, you just stick your finger up my butt, it’ll be a really funny bit,'" he said.

She didn't want to do it, but in order to avoid looking like a "diva," Rebel said she agreed to "slap you once on the butt and that's it."

Sacha is fighting back.

In a statement to BBC News, his rep said: "While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby."
