Most people who meet Meghan Markle have nothing but positive things to say about her, but it sounds like Rebel Wilson may not be adding herself to that list. According to her, Meghan wasn't "as naturally warm" as she expected her to be when they had the chance to meet.
Rebel opened up about her encounter with Meghan.
When she appeared on Watch What Happens Live over the weekend, Rebel got real about what happened when she got to meet the Duchess of Sussex, who apparently didn't live up to her expectations.
“Meghan was not as cool. She wasn’t as naturally warm," she admitted.
She did admit that her mom may have been to blame.
Rebel said that her mom, Sue Bownds, who was with her at the time, was asking Meghan "slightly rude" questions, such as where her kids were at the time.
"And I’m like, ‘Mom, don’t ask her that,'" Rebel said.
If that's really what happened, that could make anyone feel a bit standoffish.
She had nothing but positive things to say about Prince Harry, though.
They all ended up in the same place at the same time because of mutual friends, and even though Rebel didn't necessarily seem very impressed with Meghan, Prince Harry got a rave review. According to her, he "could not have been nicer."
Rebel and Harry have a few things in common.
Though Harry is British and Rebel is Australian, they both know what it's like to move to America from another country. And because Rebel recently became a mom to a baby girl, she knows what it's like to be a parent too — after all, Harry is a father of two.
Maybe Meghan will have a chance to make a second impression someday.
After all, we all have off days sometimes, so maybe Meghan just wasn't feeling her best that day — we get it.
If they have mutual friends, there's a good chance they'll all run into each other again sometime soon.
