It seems like the older Reese Witherspoon's daughter, Ava Phillippe, gets, the more she looks like her famous mom, and now that she's turning 25, that statement is only more true! When Ava — the oldest child of Reese and ex-husband Ryan Phillippe — celebrated her birthday on September 9, her mom marked the occasion with a sweet Instagram post that featured plenty of photos of Ava that look exactly like her mom did when she was her age. It's so wild how much they look alike!

Reese shared a sweet birthday post to Ava on Instagram.
Along with more recent photos of her daughter (including one of the two of them together), Reese also shared a throwback pic of her and Ava when she was little.
"Happy Birthday to my amazing daughter @avaphillippe who happens to be one of the most genuinely kind-hearted and wise people I know," she wrote. "I love you with all heart. Keep shining your beautiful light my sweet girl!"
Her brother also sent birthday messages her way.
On his Instagram Stories, Ava's younger brother, 20-year-old Deacon, celebrated with a post of his own that featured photo strips of the two of them together. "Happy birthday to the coolest big sis," he wrote.
Ava reposted the photo on her own Instagram Stories, adding a happy crying emoji. These two!
Ava also took the opportunity to share a pic from her birthday.
She and her friend went to a Gracie Abrams concert to celebrate, and it looks like Ava had a blast.
"Sitting under a tree waiting for a ride home from the concert with my bestest friend," she wrote. "This is twenty five."

Reese frequently shares updates on Ava.
Reese has never been one to shy away from sharing social media updates on her kids, who include Ava, Deacon, and her 11-year-old son, Tennessee James, whom she shares with ex-husband James Toth.
It seems like it's a rare occasion she has all three of them together at the same time these days, but that's the way it goes as our kids get older!
