Some celebrities have seen the dangers of sharing their children’s identities with the world and, as a result, try to keep them out of the spotlight for as long as possible. Actress Sienna Miller also seemed to try to employ that kind of tactic for her teenage daughter, Marlowe Sturridge, but allowing her out with Sienna on the red carpet for an event backfired on the actress big time.
Later, she admitted regret at having her 14-year-old daughter accompany her on the red carpet in front of dozens of flashing cameras. Sienna herself once shied away from the paparazzi and cameras in public, and she might prefer that for her own kids until they are of age to say otherwise and consent to the scrutiny and attention that comes with being a public figure.

Sienna has two kids with her fiancé, Oli Green. She shares Marlowe with her ex-husband, Tom Sturridge. While Marlowe is not seen as public as much as her famous mom, the paparazzi have caught glimpses of her from time to time. And when Marlowe showed up on the red carpet for Sienna’s London premiere of her TV series War, all eyes were on the teen.
Sienna and Marlowe were photographed side by side on the red carpet, with Marlowe appearing at the event in a casual yellow T-shirt and long black skirt, looking every bit the 14-year-old she is. Sienna cheesed for the cameras with her daughter, and the moments caught on camera seemed to be totally endearing.
Afterward, though, Sienna admitted that she was “slightly concerned” by the attention that Marlowe got in her quick appearance at the event. One post on X from Page Six garnered more than 10 million views and thousands of likes, with more than 180 comments about Marlowe.
“I somewhat regret it because I didn’t expect, and I don’t think she expected, that that would have the response that it got,” Sienna said on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show. She then added, “I think I’m going to be sending her away to a nunnery for the next four years till she can emerge as an actual adult.”

Under the X post with the red carpet video of Sienna and Marlowe, users commented to share how beautiful they think Marlowe is. One even wrote, “She looks like a supermodel from the early 90s.” The emphasis on her looks is what seems to concern Sienna, though, especially since her daughter is just 14 years old.
Under a TikTok about the red carpet appearance, people wrote that Marlowe looks like she is in her 20s. Another commented to say that she won the “genetic lottery.”
Someone also joked, “If 14-year-old me saw her, I’d actually have to die.”
Sienna Miller doesn’t want her daughter subjected to too much attention.

During The Julia Cunningham Show interview, Sienna also shared that, while she believes her daughter is as beautiful as the social media comments say, it isn’t what she wants people to take away from who Marlowe is.
“She’s so clever, and she’s so funny, and she’s still my little girl, so I don’t know that we’re going to be doing more red carpets,” Sienna revealed.
Unlike Sienna, Marlowe is a young teen who is not in the entertainment industry. Understandably, Sienna is hopeful that she remains out of the spotlight for the time being.
