Kody Brown and his remaining wife, Robyn Brown, have sold their house and upgraded to a new one. They purchased the home in 2019.

Kody and Robyn bought the mansion in August 2019 for  $890,000. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported that though the house was purchased under the couple’s names, Kody’s ex-wives — Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown — are said to have contributed finances toward the purchase of the home.

It was initially listed in August 2024.

Kody and Robyn first listed the home for $1.65 million in August 2024. The listing appeared to be on and off the market numerous times after its initial listing, having reduced its price to $949,000 in October before being removed. The ex-wives claimed they also invested in a larger home in Coyote Pass, and in a 2022 Sister Wives episode, Kody discussed the plans he had with the properties. “We buy the house, we build on Coyote Pass, you move into that house, we rent this house,” he told the four women.

The ex-wives want their money back.

Meri, Christine, and Janelle weren’t fond of the way the couple handled the properties, claiming Kody and Robyn weren’t making any progress building on the property. “I’ve actually thought about asking if he wants to buy me out,” Janelle told Christine during a season 19 episode of the show. “But we’ve got to pay it off, and he’s not talking to me about it, so I think I’m going to have to lawyer up.”

Robyn and Kody upgraded.

Robyn and Kody have purchased a 7,884-square-foot mansion for $2.1 million, which is also in Flagstaff. Starcasm reported that the couple borrowed $1.68 million in order to buy the home, for which they signed a 30-year mortgage. Kody reportedly defied a court-order by purchasing the mansion, according to Soap Opera Spy. After Christine filed a lawsuit against him, he was ordered not to get rid of any assets, including “money, real estate, or anything that could be liquidated to make it an asset.”

Their new mansion includes a guest house.

The new house has six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, according to Starcasm. It features a guest house that is 2,288 square feet along with a detached garage that is 2,200 square feet. The property sits on 2.56 acres.

Many fans couldn’t believe the couple bought the home.

Neither Kody or Robyn have any morals or ethics,” one person commented. “This dude is a pillar of integrity. Imagine how disgusted his adult children are, watching him treat their mothers like this,” another person wrote. “No wonder HIS kids won’t speak to him.”
